"Saudara" is de CD titel van de groep Metzu, bestaande uit Cees de Jong en zijn dochters Ester en Cleo. Het repertoire is gebaseerd op de fototentoonstelling 'Saudara' van fotograaf Jan Malawauw, en bestaat uit instrumentale klassieke arrangementen verweven met de muzikale cultuur van de 1e generatie Molukkers in Holland. Met name de mix van klassieke muziek met de Molukse traditionele muziek maakt deze cd bijzonder.

"Saudara" is the title of the CD of the Metzu group consisting of Cees de Jong and his daughters: Ester and Cleo. The repertory is composed based on the photo exhibition of the same name and was played on the opening in the Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg. The repertory is an instrumental expression of the musical culture of the first generation of Moluccans in Holland, interchanged with classical music and own compositions. The traditional Moluccan numbers have not been adapted; with piano, flute and violin making it sounds differently. Classical music is hardly ever played in the Moluccan culture. To indicate that classical music could also fit in into this culture, (some numbers of the CD have arranged with Moluccan melodies) the musicians has chosen this particular form.
